Marketers and other stakeholders requested advertisements to promote data sets and particular industries covered by financial groups. The obstacle was promoting numbers while still remaining true to the SNL brand, keeping visual appeal, and attracting a “click” from the viewer. A concise message, an idea that could be illustrated and highlighted through thoughtful design was needed.
By distilling lengthy messaging down to its essential headline after many collaborative meetings with marketers and other stakeholders, I attempted to create designs that made facts and figures alluring. I created images with depth and visual interest by manipulating photographs and creating illustrations that communicated the availability and dependability of financial data being provided by SNL Financial. For these examples, I played with scale to highlight the magnitude of the information being provided.
